How dumb do they think we are?!
I'm currently sitting HR professional exams so I can become a graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. This involves receiving boxes and boxes of "flexible learning materials" in the post, studying them and going to a few tutorials and then submitting assignments and sitting exams for the next two years (I've just about finished my first year).
I must say that I have been pretty disappointed with the quality of the materials - for a profession that faces a constant battle for corporate recognition and credibility, they don't do us any favours by including activities in the workbooks like the following:
It's times like this when I wonder why I bother putting the effort in.
