Boilers. Can't live with them, can't live without them.
I'm working from home for most of today as I have been waiting for the boiler man to come. In light of the dramatically decreasing temperatures (and therefore increasing need for very hot baths!) the fact that our boiler doesn't really work very well (this is not the first time it's broken in the two months we've lived in this flat!!) is a big problem.
I have to say though, that the boiler guy is here now and I am not filled with confidence by the fact that he seems to be spending most of his time enthusiastically working a giant bicycle pump...
