Desperate times...

I read in the metro (that towering inferno of quality journalism) this morning that this band (co-incidentally from Clapham) actually sold all their instruments to be able to afford to record their demo. Left with nothing to actually play in the recording studio, they then bought instruments on credit and returned them a few days later once they had finished the recording. Their plan is now apparently to make enough money selling their demo released as a single to buy their instruments back...bit of a gamble?

I'd say it's a bit of a gamble if you think you'll make enough money to pay for the cost of the recording. Time to learn the jug and the tea chest bass.
